Coming soon… Canterbury Bid Light Switch On
We are very excited to announce that children from St Stephen’s Infants will take part in this year’s ‘Aladdin’ themed Light Parade on Friday 10th November.
The parade will follow a new route through the city starting at Westgate Towers and ending in the Dane John Gardens. The parade will weave its way past the Cathedral, illuminating the medieval streets as it goes by and will be led by the Lord Mayor and the amazing Bloco Fogo Drumming Band, followed by six huge Aladdin characters, 100+ light up costumes created by local schools, a festive brass band and a whole host of lively Christmas characters.
Whitefriars Kings Charles III Banner Competition
Schools across the district were asked to take design colourful banners to mark His Majesty the King’s coronation in May 2023. Four talented children at St Stephen’s Infants were competition winners and had their banners displayed in the shopping centre. We are lucky enough to now display their banners in our school hall.
